Title: Do the job he left behind

Artist: unsigned

Date: 1943

Size: 18"x28"

Comments: Very famous WWII poster that has often been reproduced but here is an authentic original. Woman homefront workers were frequently depicted in red bandannas, and the term Rosie the Riveter was based on a 1942 song. This is truly beautiful and rare. (Don't get your hopes up of finding the super famous "We Can Do It" Rosie with flexed muscle...it's so rare that I know no one who has ever seen a specimen, let alone had one!)

Price: Sold
