Comments: Very impressive poster commemorating the opening of the American Wing of the Met in 1925. Cleland specialized in recreating genre scenes of colonial life, this poster is extremely rare and historically important. If you go to the Metropolitan Museum of Art in the American courtyard, you will see the actual facade of the 18th century bank that you can walk through.
