Title: Your metal is their might
Artist: Schlaikjer
Date: 1944
Size: 28.5"x40"
Comments: Truly spectacular image of Army machine gunners in heavy action. Schlaikjer is among the most highly collected WWII artist, and this is his most dramatic poster. This scarce poster promotes saving scrap metal for weapons manufacture. It is hugely rarer than the version that has a large white banner at the top (about a war film), and hugely more impressive.
