Item Number: 3996
Title: He's watching you
Artist: Glen Grohe
Comments: One of the famed American posters of WWII, pictured in many books on world poster art, and very hard to find. Apparently this poster was misunderstood when it was introduced, and American workers either thought it depicted the Liberty Bell, or their boss watching them! It was meant to depict a German soldier peering at the American worker. Large format is one of the rarest of WWII posters.
Condition: A-, linen mounted, fine color, trace of US Gov't fold marks before mounting.
