Comments: Remarkable American advertising poster for Olympia Knitting Mills of Olympia Washington, for their line of "Wil Wite" bathing suits. The water skier is a "fadeaway girl" a style made famous by Coles Phillips (though I believe he wasn't the artist on this poster). Amazingly...the one thing that the poster is advertising...the swimsuit...is invisible! American advertising posters of this era and scale are so uncommon...and this is a superb subject, artwork and condition! Spectacular color litho work by Erie Litho Co.
