Comments: Jes Schlaikjer was one of the finest artists producing WWII posters in the US. His great achievement is a very uncommon series of posters celebrating the different branches of the U.S. Army. One of the most desired of the set, featuring an Army medic administering to a wounded soldier in a blazing battlefield. I am not aware of any other medical recruiting posters for WWII and this is very scarce.
