Comments: Original photogravure print from the 1913 first edition of "The Vanishing Race", which documented in photographs the Last Great Indian Council of all American Indian Chiefs of the era. This historic gathering was organized by Rodman Wanamaker, with the cooperation of the U.S. Government. The print quality achieved by the photogravure process is very subtle and needs to be seen "in hand" to appreciate. These "Wanamaker Indian Photogravure" have become scarce and are highly collectable.
